The neighborhood center of Discovery Place, completed in 2016, is home to San Diego’s first indoor sky-diving facility, IFLY. Modern wind tunnels used at IFLY have created a whole new genre of sport called “bodyflight,” one of the most exciting and fastest growing sports in the world and the newest entertainment attraction.  The 3.3 acre development is located on the north side of Interstate 8 in Mission Valley, one of San Diego’s busiest  trade areas.  Discovery Place also includes the 5-level, 135 room Springhill Suites by Marriott, a non-smoking hotel with contemporary rooms that cater to tourists and business travelers alike. Also located at Discovery Place is a convenient drive-through Starbucks.
